Crown restoration is a process in modern dentistry that is used to cover worn down, fractured or otherwise damaged teeth. They are also commonly used to cover teeth that have had a root canal. In addition they can be used to strengthen teeth and used to improve appearance, shape or alignment of a patient's teeth.

A crown can be used to cover an implant and provide shape and structure for function. Initially crowns were made of silver but have elevated to gold and ceramics, which can more easily be matched to the color of natural teeth. Crowns can usually last a minimum of ten years and with proper care much longer.

When we create a crown, it must not only serve to repair or protect the tooth, but it must also integrate aesthetically with the surrounding teeth, be comfortable and fit your bite correctly. We take the necessary time to be sure the crown looks and feels natural and will last for many years to come.

In order to do this we use the highest quality materials whether it is gold, porcelain or zirconia-based porcelain. The beautiful part about porcelain is that in addition to being very strong it is long lasting and has the color and translucency of natural teeth. Typically gold and silver would be used on the molars and teeth in back since it is as strong as porcelain but not nearly as attractive as porcelain.

It is our goal to supply you with the highest quality crown available that will give you a comfortable fit, match your other teeth aesthetically and last a long time. We are here to serve you and to make your dental visit as painless and as affordable as possible.
